TIPS AND TRICKS TO MAKE A ZINE

A pocket-sized folded zine that illustrates how to make and print a zine from start to finish.

Annotated with local Texas resources.

Initially printed to introduce HGMS members to making zines. It serves as an interactive instructional guide that they can stash in their back pockets and take home from the meeting.

Most HGMS members have, at some point, written something for publication or compiled photos for a presentation. This zine was written for people with a basic knowledge of print.

• Printed in full color on 30# 14”× 8.5” matte paper.
• 3.5” x 4.25”
• 14 pages, guts only; 16 inprints with covers
• Bone folded
• Printed locally in Houston, Texas.
